Bridge Club members Prathana (JA 2020/2021) and Brittany (JA 2009, Bridge Club President) and the Liaison Officers, JJ and Linda, participated in glass mosaic art classes in early 2022 to learn the skills necessary so that they could assist the mosaic mural artists with the creation of the Oakland Fukuoka Sister City mosaic mural. Although the artist instructors made cutting the glass look so easy, it took a couple of classes and diligence to learn how to carefully use the specialized tools and how to avoid cutting our fingers on the glass. During the classes, everyone was able to create a small mosaic piece of their very own!
