Pratistha, an active and enthusiastic member of the Bridge Club, proudly participates in this year’s Common Activity with a vibrant video presentation that celebrates the cultural harmony of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is renowned for its rich heritage and the beautiful coexistence of diverse communities. Among the many colorful festivals that reflect this diversity, Boishabi holds a special place in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Celebrated by the Chakma, Marma, and Tripura communities, it marks the New Year through distinct traditions — Bizu, Sangrai, and Boishuk.

In her video, Pratishtha beautifully captures the essence of Bizu — showcasing its joyful rituals, vibrant colors, and the deep-rooted cultural pride of the Chakma community. Her work is a tribute to the unity in diversity that makes Bangladesh truly unique.
